According to Astan News, Manouchehr Radpour stressed the significance of heeding heart diseases, adding, "heart attack is considered as one of the most frequent factors of fatality in the country.”
He went on to add that ‘inappropriate diets, obesity, and not having enough mobility’ are the factors that usually lead to a heart attack.
According to him, the 8th International Razavi Cardiovascular Congress will be held in Mashhad with an aim to raise awareness among people as well as the physicians and cardiologists about heart diseases.
"Presenting the latest scientific and research achievements for the treatment of heart diseases, training Iranian researchers, connecting Iranian researchers and specialists to the outside world, and also introducing Razavi Hospital's capabilities in diagnosis and treatment of heart-related diseases are other objectives of the congress,” he added.
Radpour noted that 31 foreign guests from Germany, UK, US, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Turkey, India, Egypt, South Korea, Vietnam, and Ireland will attend the congress.
"241 articles will be presented orally and around 10 others will be presented in the form of posters,” he added. “Furthermore, 14 seminars and four special workshops on heart will be held on the sideline of the congress.”
The topics of the seminars and workshops include tridimensional echocardiography, fundamental and advanced concepts of fetus echocardiography, invasive non-surgery procedures on fetus' heart, and electrophysiology.
