The Monday meeting in Baghdad between visiting Chairman of Iran's Strategic Council on Foreign Relations (SCFR) Kamal Kharrazi and Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi discussed promotion of bilateral relations and coordination of regional efforts in anti-terror cooperation.
They also discussed how Iraq can be supported in the fight against terrorism through concerted measures.
Iran’s Kharrazi visited Damascus and met Syrian President Bashar al Assad before visiting Baghdad for negotiations with Iraqi officials.
