Marzieh Afkham condemned terrorist attacks in mosques in Northeast Nigeria which killed and injured more than 150 Muslims.
Expressing sympathy with families of the victims as well as the Nigerian government and nation, Afkham stressed the need for a comprehensive fight against extremist ideas declaring Iran’s readiness to exchange experiences in the fight against terrorism with the Nigerian side.
In the two blasts at two mosques in Northeast Nigeria on Friday more than 55 people were killed and about a hundred were injured. It is believed that the attacks were carried out by Boko Haram Takfiri militant group.
