TEHRAN, Sep. 04 (MNA) – Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abodllahian and his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi discussed in a telephone conversation Sat. the latest developments in Afghanistan.

According to a statement by the Iranian Foreign Ministry,  Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abodllahian and his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi held a telephone call, on Saturday to discuss the latest developments in Afghanistan.

The statement added, "Following the consultations of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country with the Russian and Chinese counterparts over the past few days, it was agreed that the meeting of Afghanistan's neighbors at the level of special envoys as well as foreign ministers to be held virtually in the next few days."
