TEHRAN, Dec. 11 (MNA) – Iranian foreign minister lambasted the United States for intervening in other countries’ internal affairs, saying foreigner’s interference in Afghan peace talks is not acceptable for Tehran.

Speaking with Afghan 1TV on Tuesday, Mohammad Javad Zarif said the talks belong to the Afghans and the government of the country manages the process while Taliban should also be a part of it.

Afghan 1TV wrote on its website that Zarif's remarks were in reaction to recent efforts by US special envoy for Afghan peace talks Zalmay Khalilzad.
