TEHRAN, Jul. 14 (MNA) – Iranian MP Khadijah Rabiei said on Saturday that Iranian parliament will table a new pro-women rights bill in the near future.

“The Rouhani administration has a special focus on women's issues and that there is a good interaction between the government and the parliament to follow up women's affairs,” said Iranian MP Khadijah Rabiei on Saturday while addressing a host of entrepreneurs in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province. Rabiei is also a member of Women Fraction of MPs at Iranian parliament.

“Approving and allocating $53 million in credit to provide insurance services for female heads of households is one of the joint actions of the government and parliament in this area, and it is hoped that laws will soon be approved to support women entrepreneurs,” she added.

Rabieh said that the women elites and entrepreneurs of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province have been a source of pride for this province in the Islamic Republic of Iran and stated, “the women of the province have potentials and talents which could make them able to play a significant role in the development of the country and the province if the required conditions for them are provided.”

The Iranian MP from the constituency of Boroujen noted that the barriers and problems faced by the entrepreneur women in the province are well understood and reassured that the parliament will not hesitate to help in solving these problems in the field of reforming or introducing new laws.
