TEHRAN, Apr. 27 (MNA) – According to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Iran’s import of goods from UK and France in the past Iranian calendar year in 1396 (ended March 20, 2018) increased 168 and 85 percent respectively.

Given the above issue, Islamic Republic of Iran imported three million tons of products from UK, valued at $1.1 billion, showing a considerable 168 and 200 percent hike in terms of value and weight respectively as compared to a year earlier.

IRICA also put Iran’s import of products from France in the same period at $1.766 billion, showing a considerable 29 and 85 percent growth in terms of weight and value respectively as compared to the last year’s corresponding period.

Generally speaking, Iran’s import of goods from France and UK in the last Iranian calendar year in 1396 (ended March 20, 2018) registered a significant growth especially after the implementation of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), IRICA concluded.
