TEHRAN, Apr. 21 (MNA) – Secretary of Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei said on Saturday in Tehran that all helps provided by the Islamic Republic of Iran to Syria were based on friendly ties between the two countries.

“All the helps that the Islamic Republic of Iran offered to Syria were because of friendly ties between the two countries and it proved that the Islamic Republic of Iran is honest in its friendship with countries,” said Secretary of Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei.

The Iranian official made the remarks in Tehran while addressing a gathering at Khorramshahr Mosque of Iran’s Museum of Holy Defense on Saturday.

“I owe the warriors of the IRGC who did a great job at the time of one of the most important turning points of the history,” said the former commander-in-chief of the IRGC about the force resisting against Saddam’s full-fletched military campaign against the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1980-88.

“Today we have reached a point that nobody is able to stop the train of the Islamic Revolution and that’s because of devotion and selflessness of you,” he addressed the veteran personnel of the IRGC.
