TEHRAN, Dec. 11 (MNA) – Three Iranian clubs to vie at World Wrestling Clubs Cup have released finals rosters for the Greco-Roman event to be held in Isfahan.

The fourth edition of Greco-Roman World Wrestling Clubs Cup is scheduled to be held on December 4-15, 2017 in 6000-seat indoor arena of Isfahan called 25th Aban which is part of the Nagsh-e-Jahan Stadium.

Accordingly, Sina Sanat Izeh, Bimeh Razi as well as Qom’s Martyrs of Holy Shrines will be the three wrestling clubs to represent Iran at the upcoming sportive event.

Malek Mohammad Bouyer, head couch of Sina Sanat, has convoked Ali Arsalan, shahin Bedaghi, Mehdi Nouri, Keyvan Rezaei, Reza Khedri, Hassan Arianejad, Shirzad Beheshti, Behnam Moradi, Mohammad Reza Geraei, Armenia’s Karen Aslanian and Maksim Manukian as well as Zhan Vensanovych Beleniuk who is a Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestler.

For Bimeh Razi, hopes are pinned on Moslem Naderi, Mehrdad Mardani, Saeid Abdevali, Mohammad Ali Geraei, Hossein Assadi, Farshad Belfakeh, Saman Abdevali, Shahab Ghourejili, Aliakbar Heidari, Seyed Mostafa Salaheizadeh, Mehdi Fallah, Russia’s Artem Olegovich Surkov and Roman Andreyevich Vlasov as well as Zviad Pataridze from Georgia who are headed by Hassan Rangraz.

Meanwhile, the squad for Qom’s Martyrs of Holy Shrines club comprises Mehdi Ghorbani, Alireza Nejati, Reza Mardi, Mehdi Moradhaseli, Javad Rezaei, Aliasghar Pasalari, Behnam Afsharnik, Ali Soleimani, Hadi Alizadeh, Afshin Eslami, Mohammadreza Rezaei, Mehdi Ebrahimi, Mohammad Ali Heidari, Omid Eftekhari as well as Parsa Nazari.

Iranian club Bimeh Razi finished second at the 2016 Freestyle World Wrestling Clubs Cup held in Ukraine.

In finals of the 2016 edition, Title defender Bimeh Razi suffered a 3-4 defeat in the hands of Titan Mercury from the US, winner of two titles in the sportive event.
