“Efforts are being exerted to make conditions available to activate the Syrian-Syrian talks and I briefed President Erdogan on the Russian-US joint statement about Syria,” President Putin said in a press conference with President of the Turkish regime Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Sochi.
He affirmed that Moscow and Ankara have agreed to boost the efforts in order to make a progress under international supervision and preserve territorial integrity of Syria.
Erdogan, for his part, said that Astana meeting and the de-escalation zones agreement have helped decrease the intensity of violence in Syria.
