TEHRAN, Oct. 07 (MNA) – Iranian agriculture minister, in a meeting in Paris with his French counterpart, discussed ways to increase bilateral relations in the field of agriculture and animal husbandry.

Iranian Minister of Agriculture Mahmoud Hojjati met with Stéphane Le Foll, his French counterpart in Paris, where they sought venues for boosting Iran-France cooperation in areas of agriculture and animal husbandry.

During the meeting, also attended by deputy agriculture ministers of both countries, ways were discussed to develop cooperation between Tehran and Paris in various agricultural sectors.

Other axes of talks between the Iranian and French ministers included exchange of new technologies in the agricultural field, conducting research, especially in the fields of medicinal plants and plant cultivation, as well as investment of France in various agricultural and livestock sectors of Iran, especially aquaculture and conversion and dairy industries.
