Iran, France ink MoU to broaden agricultural coop.

TEHRAN, Nov. 11 (MNA) – Private sectors of Iran and France signed and sealed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of joint production of corn and sorghum seeds.

The MOU was inked in the presence of Iranian Minister of Agriculture Mahmoud Hojjati and European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Phil Hogan, the report added.

Implementation of the plan to develop cultivation of corn and sorghum seeds in Iran with direct support of European Union has been cited as the main aim behind signing the aforementioned Memorandum of Understanding, the report ended.
