TEHRAN, Sep. 19 (MNA) – The short film ‘Retouch’ directed by Kave Mazaheri will vie as Iran's representative at Asiana International Short Film Festival (AISFF) in November.

Produced by the Iranian Young Cinema Society, Retouch is about a young woman whose husband dies before her eyes while she cannot do anything but to witness this tragic scene.

The film has won the award for best short film at the 18th Iran Cinema Celebration and Best Film Award at Iran's 34th Fajr Film Festival.

It also has received awards from such renowned festivals as Tribeca, Krakow and Palm Springs, and  has been qualified as a potential nominee for the Academy Awards. So far, this short film has been showcased in more than ten festivals approved by the Academy.

Asiana International Short Film Festival (AISFF) is the first and largest international competitive short film festival in Korea.
