TEHRAN, Jul. 21 (MNA) – Iranian air, defense, and missile industries have showcased their latest achievements at the International Aviation and Space Salon (MAKS-2017) in Zhukovsky near Russian capital city of Moscow.

The International Aviation and Space Salon also known as the MAKS-2017 is underway in Zhukovsky, Moscow Region, Russia, and the Iranian achievements in the related fields are showcased at pavilion D3 in the venue. The pavilion is allocated to the latest products of Iranian industries in the fields of air, space, and defense.

At the air section of Iran’s pavilion, drones designed and manufactured in the Islamic Republic of Iran are presented. Among the presented models of Iran-made drones are Mohajer, Fetros, Hamaseh, and Karrar.

Also a sample model of trainer fighter Kowsar, which was recently unveiled in Iran, is in show there.

The trainer-combat jet is designed for advanced pilot training courses of CCT, and UPT. It has a wingspan of 12 meters, a height of 4.7 meters, and a maximum takeoff weight of 6,180 kg.  

The other Iran-made products showcased at the exhibition are air-engines, satellites, precise air-to-air missiles, precise air-to-surface missiles, technical aerial surveying cameras, electro-optical navigation equipment, helicopters, airplane tires, and aerodata computers.
