“They talk a lot,” said Iran's Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari in reaction to the question of journalists who asked for his opinion about what is said to be a joint war game of US, UK, and France in the Persian Gulf as “a simulated counter-measure against Iran.”
“We don’t care what is said by whom or what they do. For us, it is important to be so ready in our defensive capabilities to stand any threat at anywhere,” articulated the Iranian senior commander. “Anybody who wishes to stage a war game within the limits of the free waters should follow the international law and we do not allow anybody to get close to our waters and this is our red-line.”
“When it comes to defense, the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and along with them the Navy, are not much concerned with the issues and approaches of one or the other president,” asserted the commander after being asked what he thinks about US congress decision to give Trump the permission to implement pre-emptive measures against Iran.
He underlined that the Iranian Armed Forces have accomplished numerous breakthroughs of notice in all areas which make them at their highest level of readiness.
