TEHRAN, Jul. 28 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif voiced content with his African tour of Nigeria, Ghana, Guinea, and Mali, in his Wednesday meeting with Guinean Prime Minister Mamady Youla.  

“The bilateral ties between Iran and Guinea are at good status and the African tour, along with the big business delegation of Iranian businessmen, has opened a new chapter in trade and economy cooperation between the two countries,” highlighted the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, during his meeting with Guinean Prime Minister Mamady Youla in capital city of Conakry, on Wednesday.

The Iranian senior diplomat said, “to us, cooperation with Guinea is an opportunity, and economic cooperation along with political and international co-alignment of the two countries is good and well-developed.”

The Guinean prime minister in this meeting, for his part, voiced determination for expanding business and investment cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

“The Guinean government supports the expansion of bilateral ties between Tehran and Conakry in all areas,” said Mamady Youla boasting that Guinea is a country of opportunities.

Saying that he and his government welcome Iranian private sector investing in Guinea, Youla voiced content with the report Guinea’s mining minister presented to him after his travel to Tehran.

Zarif also met with 78 year old President of Guinea Alpha Condé, during his visit to the West African country.
