TEHRAN, Oct. 22 (MNA) – The Ninth round of Iran’s Pro League of soccer was wrapped up after the 5 simultaneous matches of Wednesday were held.

In Tehran, the blue giants of the city shared the points of the home match with Esteghlal of Khuzestan as all the four clubs of the top of the table did in this round to make no change to the arrangement of the upper table.

Aghil Ka’bi scored for the visitors at the 38th minute but their superiority did not last too long as the hosts scored a goal 6 minutes later to make a draw.

Naft of Tehran, who started the season in a bumpy road, garnered its first victory of the season against Rah Ahan of Tehran who had won their last fixture 5-0 under their new manager Mehdi Tartar.

Vahid Amiri was the opener of the event at the 24th minute and Amir Arsalan Motah’hari scored the second goal for Naft very late at the 89th minute.

In Isfahan, Zowbahan of the city and Gostaresh Foulad of Tabriz left the pitch content with the scoreless draw, while GolMohammadi’s team could have grab the top from Esteghlal if they had won the home fixture.

In Qom, while the guests led the event with their opener at the 22nd minute, they conceded to two goals at the 64th and 82nd minutes to continue their chain of defeat in the current season.

Sasan Ansari scored for Foulad of Khuzestan while Amir Hossein Sadeghi and Mohammad Ghazi touched the net for Ali Daie’s team.

Still unsuccessful at the bottom of the table, Esteghlal of Ahvaz lost to Padideh of Mashhad 3-2, at its home in Ahvaz.
