TEHRAN, Sep. 27 (MNA) – Advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader has deemed the irresponsible, inhuman and un-Islamic behavior of Saudi kingdom on Mina tragedy as more bitter than the incident itself.

Major-General Yahya Rahim Safavi referred to Mina incident as a very sad accident asserting that, “Saudi Arabia has prevented Iranian delegations’ trip to identify and help Iranian pilgrims; an inhuman action indicating an arrogant and ignorant regime.”

Expressing hope that the Saudi king will accept the responsibility and make apologies to nations, Rahim Safavi stated that, “this incident has proved that Saudi Arabia is not qualified to control Hajj ceremony and Muslims need to find a solution to the issue as the ceremony is a great annual congress attended by 1.6 million Muslims.”

Pointing that Saudi Arabia is not capable of providing the pilgrim’s safety and security, the commander expressed hope that Islamic nations will take an active stance against this arrogant regime.

He further called for the formation of a fact-finding committee to find the cause of the incident in line with the offer made to Saudi Arabia by Seyyed Hassan Nasrollah.
