Deputy FM sheds light on Iran-Oman deal on Strait of Hormuz

TEHRAN, Aug. 26 (MNA) – Iran's deputy foreign minister said Tuesday that the understanding reached with Oman does not mean the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, and that the waterway remains "militarily closed."

No decision made so far on resuming talks with US

TEHRAN, Aug. 15 (MNA) – Iran has not decided to resume negotiations with the United States, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said, adding that the 60-day period in the Islamabad MoU was a window for talks, not a ceasefire subject to extension.
