TEHRAN, Mar. 02 (MNA) – The Nowruz welcoming ceremony was held in the village of Cheshmidar in Kordestan Province.
The people of the village have long believed that as the village is lower than sea level and plants grow earlier there (25 days earlier than in other places), it is the beginning of a new year and they celebrate it with a ceremony.
