Participating in a meeting held on Kashan Tourism Promotion, Mahdi Horri added the festival intends to develop red rose plantation, decorative floras, as well as the production and exporting of roses and rose water. Highlighting tourist attractions and historical monuments in the region are also among other aims of the festival, he said.
The guests of the festival, tourists and regional residents will be able to observe the old and modern ceremony of rose water abstraction to be held in the gardens of different regions of Kashan, Qamsar and Niasar.
Several workshops, seminars, and meetings will be held at the side section of the festival with participation of experts in the fields of rose and rose water production, and different flower abstractions.
The head of the Isfahan Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance as the other participant also added that the department is doing its best to better organize the festival.
Holding exhibitions of paintings and photography with the central theme of rose and rose water, performing traditional music concerts, and staging plays are also among the cultural programs of the festival, said Khosrow Neshan. Photo and short film competitions, as well as holding a Nature Film Festival, are also expected at the festival.
Neshan said the attendance of foreign guests would make the festival more glorious, saying organizers will welcome the input of foreign guest’s new and innovative ideas.
