An operative linked to Mossad nabbed in Tehran riots

TEHRAN, Jan. 05 (MNA) – Greater Tehran Police has reported the arrest of an operative linked to Israeli regime's Mossad among rioters in the recent riot in capital Tehran.

Claiming to be linked to an organization based in Germany, the arrested Mossad-linked operative stated that he started his spying activity through the social network Instagram by identifying people who liked certain posts.

Iranian security and intelligence forces arrested him while he was operating under the guise of participating in the recent riots in Tehran.

The suspect was identified and detained while acting covertly among rioters in Tehran.

According to parts of his confessions, the detainee explained the methods used for recruitment, training, and communication with elements connected to Mossad.

Referring to the missions assigned to him, the suspect said he was initially told to go to people’s homes, but was later quickly instructed to move operations to marketplaces. He noted that the missions gradually changed and were entirely based on receiving payments, adding that all aspects of his activities were taught to him through the mobile phone.

The suspect also claimed that he had gained the capability to receive signals and identify phone numbers in his nearby through his mobile phone, and that he was tasked with communicating with specific people.
