A car caught fire and exploded in the Bronx area of NYC earlier this evening, injuring six firefighters.
According to witnesses, the incident occurred at 7:06pm. The fire started in the trash outside an apartment and spread to the vehicle, causing two explosive sounds.
The force of the blast turned the car into a towering fireball.
