Ali Larijani, who is visiting Beirut, held talks with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam as part of his series of meetings with senior officials of the country.
Earlier on Saturday, the SNSC secretary also met with Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament.
Upon his arrival in Beirut, Larijani told reporters that one of the purposes of his trip was to attend the anniversary ceremony of the martyrdom of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and to hold discussions with a number of Lebanese officials.
