Iran progress not to be stopped by assassinating scientists

TEHRAN, Jan. 06 (MNA) – The Iranian president said that the enemies thought that they could destroy Iran's nuclear industry by assassinating scientists, but the country's progress does not stop with terror.

In a public meeting with the people of Zanjan on Saturday, Ebrahim Raeisi pointed out that it has been more than 40 years since Imam Khomeini (RA) announced that the priority of the Islamic world is the issue of Palestine, adding that sticking to the strict stance provoked the hostility of Iran enemies, but Iran's position of the right of Palestine has become clear to the world.

He called the oppressed Palestinians as powerful, adding that the fake Zionist regime which is supported by global Arrogance must be destroyed.

The President noted that insisting on the rights of Palestinians led to the animosity towards Iranian nation, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and its Quds Force commander Manjor General Qassem Soleimani.

The enemy imposed sanctions, threats, economic blockades and military attacks in the past 40 years, but the Iranian nation that wants freedom and independence won the war of wills, Raeisi said.

He continued that despite the threats and sanctions, Iran made progress and proved itself as an advanced and technological country.

Honoring the memory of Martyr Majid Shahriaria, Iranian nuclear scientist from Zanjan, the president stated that many industries in Iran, including the nuclear industry have become indigenous, while the enemies thought that they could destroy this industry by assassinating scientists.

Iran intended to use nuclear technology in fields such as producing medicine, he said, stressing that Iran's progress does not stop with terror and assassination.
