Turkish FM condoles Iran on Kerman terror attack

TEHRAN, Jan. 05 (MNA) – In a phone call with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan conveyed Turkey's government and peoples condolences and solidarity to the government and people of Iran.

Amir-Abdollahian thanked Turkey's high-ranking officials, including the president and foreign minister, for expressing sympathy, emphasizing the Iranian authorities' rigorous efforts to identify the perpetrators of and those who ordered this barbaric act of terrorism.

Given the delay prompted by the Kerman terrorist incident, President Ebrahim Raeisi's visit to Ankara, planned to take place on Thursday, had to be postponed; consequently, the two top diplomats agreed to reschedule this official visit to the friendly, brotherly, and neighboring country.
