Iran, Syria FMs discuss mutual ties, regional, intl. issues

TEHRAN, Nov. 28 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and his Syrian counterpart Faisal Mekdad held a telephone conversation on Monday evening to discuss bilateral relations and issues of mutual interests.

During the phone call, the two sides exchanged their views on the latest developments in the region and the world.

Syrian foreign minister, for his part, condemned the issuance of a recent resolution in the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the abuse of Western countries of the international mechanisms in line with their own political purposes.
