Rocket attack on Baghdad airport rejected

TEHRAN, Feb. 02 (MNA) – Rejecting any attack on Baghdad airport on Wednesday, the commander of Baghdad operations announced that the released news in this regard is not true.

The commander of Baghdad operations told Al-Ssumaria News on Wednesday that targeting Baghdad airport with the Katyusha rockets is not accurate.

He stressed that the alarm sounded this morning at Baghdad airport as a test and that no rocket attacks had taken place.

Some Iraqi sources reported Wednesday morning that a number of Katyusha rockets had been fired at Baghdad airport.
