2 killed in plane crash in central Iran

TEHRAN, May 11 (MNA) – A spokesman for Iran's Medical Emergency Organization announced the death of the pilot and co-pilot due to the crash of a training plane in Arak.

The two-person training plane crashed at the end of the runway while taking off at the Arak Airport, said Hamid Ghiasi on Tuesday.

Initial reports indicate that both pilot and co-pilot died, he added.

More details of this plane crash will be announced soon, he noted.
