Seven Afghan security forces killed in Ghor province

TEHRAN, Jun. 13 (MNA) – A Taliban attack on Ghor province in Afghanistan has left seven security forces dead, one wounded and another missing.

Local police in Afghanistan's Ghor province said on Saturday that seven police forces have been killed in a Taliban attack on a security checkpoint in Pasaband district, AVA reported.

The latest bloodshed comes as the Taliban and the Afghan government appear to move closer towards potential peace negotiations.
