During the conversation, the two sides discussed issues of mutual interest, especially in the field of economic ties between the two countries, as well as the regional and international developments.
The diplomats also conferred on the latest developments in the investigation process of a Ukrainian plane that was unintentionally downed near Tehran earlier this month.
