Iranian consulate in Erbil launches e-visa services

TEHRAN, Jun. 17 (MNA) – Iranian consulate general in Erbil announced on Sunday that it has started issuing electric visa for applicants.

To speed up consular services, Iranian consulate general in Erbil has launched its electric visa system, according to an announcement issued by the Iranian mission in Iraqi Kurdistan on Sunday.

The new system will entail no more costs, reassures the communiqué continuing that the main purpose of launching new system is to speed up delivering services to those seeking Iranian visa, to reduce the costs paid by applicants, and to improve services.

“Considering the easy procedure to submit a request for visa, internet companies can charge the applicants with at most 3000 Iraqi dinars, as the wage for registering,” reads the announcement.
