‘Carsten’s Letters’ goes to Croatia’s History Filmfest.

TEHRAN, May 08 (MNA) – ‘Carsten’s Letters’ directed by Ata Panahi has made it into the screening program of 2nd History Film Festival in Croatia.

Directed by Ata Panahi, ‘Carsten's Letters’ is a romance documentary taking place during World War II. It is the story of women sending their men to war, and narrates the disaster of war through love letters between Liana, one of these women, and Carsten, a German aviator and spy who is on a mission in Iran.

History Film Festival is an international festival of historical documentary films taking place in Rijeka, Croatia. The event aims to offer viewers and film experts an insight into contemporary film and TV production of historical documentary films. According to the festival’s website, it consists of a competition program and special thematic program (presentations of independent and TV productions, screenings of material from film archives, specialized conferences and workshops.)

The second edition of the Croatian film festival will be held on September 5-9, 2018.
