IRGC more experienced than ever: Salami

TEHRAN, Dec. 04 (MNA) – IRGC Deputy Commander Hossein Salami says that the IRGC ground forces have obtained lots of experiences in Syria and Iraq and inside the country and they are equipped with advanced fighting skills now.

Speaking at the of appointment ceremony of the new IRGC ground forces commander, Hossein Salami, the deputy commander of the Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that “the IRGC ground forces are in the center of regional developments.”

He added that the IRGC ground forces have acquired lots of new experiences in battlefields like Syria and in the east and north-eastern Iran. The engineering units of IRGC has equipped the border checkpoints with new technologies and everything is under control on the western borders.

Salami said that “the IRGC is fighting in a battlefield where the US, Europe, Israel and Saudi Arabia are fighting to gain control over it,” adding “the IRGC ground forces showed its power after it foiled the enemies’ plots in the region. The borders in the west Asia have become more important now and they need more attention and work. This shows where IRGC ground forces need to work on.”
