Izetbegović sends condolences over massive earthquake

TEHRAN, Nov. 17 (MNA) – Bakir Izetbegović, a high-ranking Bosnian politician, has offered condolences to the Iranian nation and government over the bitter quake incident in west of the country.

The Muslim Bosniak member of the tripartite Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a condolatory message in which he expresses deep regret over receiving reports on the deadly earthquake in western regions of Iran causing massive casualties.

I express my deepest condolences to the nation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, reads message of Izetbegović which is directed to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

The Bosnian official also shares condolences and sympathy for survivors, victims and the wounded and wished immediate recovery for wounds of the painful event.

Earlier, the Serb Member of the Presidency, Dragan Čović, President of Serbia, Slobodan Milošević, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igor Crnadak, Leader of Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein Kavazović, as well as some Bosnian organizations had also issued separate messages of sympathy over loss of Iranian citizens in the recent earthquake in Kermanshah province.
