‘Israfil’ to vie at Hong Kong Filmfest.

TEHRAN, Nov. 05 (MNA) – Iranian feature ‘Israfil’, directed by Aida Panahandeh and produced by Mastaneh Mohajer has made it to Hong Kong Asian Film Festival.

According to the public relations department of the film, Jacquelyn Tang, the program manager of Asian Film Awards Academy has selected ‘Israfil’ to participate in the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival.

The film is slated to go on screen on November 8 and 13 in Hong Kong Asian Film Festival.

DreamLab Films headed by Nasrin Mirshab has undertaken the international distribution of ‘Israfil’. The film has been screened in the Love section of London International Film Festival. It has won the NETPAC award from Iranian Film Festival Australia.

‘Israfil’ is a drama about challenges and emotional needs of human relations. The screenplay has been written by Arsalan Amiri and Aida Panahandeh.
