23rd Press Expo opens in Tehran

TEHRAN, Oct. 27 (MNA) – More than 940 media institutes and agencies take advantage of the opportunity to showcase their capabilities at the 23 edition of Tehran Press Exhibition.

The 23rd edition of Tehran Press Exhibition kicked off on Friday. The fair was opened to public one day before the formal opening ceremony to be held on Saturday.

The show hosts more than 940 media in 600 pavilions across an area of 13,000 square meters from Tehran Grand Musalla.

According to official accounts, this year edition of the exhibition is playing host to 100 monthlies, 54 weeklies, 30 biweeklies, 20 bimonthlies, 52 quarterlies, more than 115 online outlets, 70 local media, and 60 newspapers.

In addition, over 80 political and economic as well as 80 cultural and artistic media outlets are also present in the event.

This is while 22 news agencies and 97 news websites have done their primary enrollment via pressexpo.ir.

Speculations are high that President Hassan Rouhani and some cabinet members will visit some of the pavilions during the eight-day show and deliver a speech.

Tehran Press Exhibition is open to public between 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and it will be wrapped up on November 3.
