Labeling IRGC a 'terror group' aims to spread Iranophobia: interior min.

TEHRAN, Oct. 16 (MNA) – Iranian Interior Minister Rahmani Fazli denounced the recent remarks of US president, saying that Americans are after troubling Iran’s relations with other countries.

“President Rouhani’s Administration from the very beginning was firm to remove anti-Iran sanctions, and under the auspicious of Iran’s Supreme Leader and the help of Dr. Rouhani the obstacle was tackled,” said Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli, the Interior Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Monday.

“Trump’s rhetoric shows his weakness,” said the Iranian interior minister in reaction to recent US President Trump’s speech of Friday, “these words deserve them more than us, and the Americans are after dividing between Iran and other countries.”

“Trump waged against the IRGC the accusation of supporting the terrorists to re-stage the Iranophobia campaign again,” asserted the Iranian official.

“To whatever extent the international regulations allow we will equip our defense system to be prepared for threats from anywhere,” he said. “The spontaneous reaction of Internet users in attacking the use of fake designation for the Persian Gulf pressed the US department of state to use the Persian Gulf designation again,” highlighted Mr. Rahmani Fazli.
