This visit follows the trip of a delegation of high ranking military officials led by Major General Mohmmad Bagheri to Turkey. The military officials of Iran and Turkey will discuss the agreements reached in Ankara, the region’s conditions especially in Syria, fight against terrorism, ways to tackle trafficking and the Kurdish referendum.
During his stay, the Turkish general with meet with some of the high ranking military and political officials of Iran. General Akar will also meet with Ali Shamkhani, the Secretary of High Council of National Security this afternoon.
