Putin’s special envoy to meet SNSC head

TEHRAN, Apr. 26 (MNA) – Vladimir Putin’s special envoy for Syria Alexander Lavrentiev will visit Tehran Wed. to meet and talk with Head of Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani.

Lavrentiev is scheduled to travel to the Iranian capital on Wednesday April 27 in order to meet with SNSC Head Shamkhani.

The visit aims at conducting talks and consultations in line with advancement of joint political, military and security initiatives.

Alexander Lavrentiev, during his meeting with Iran’s Shamkhani, will reflect views of Russian President Vladimir Putin on current regional developments and the need for expansion of all-round cooperation to combat terrorism as well as to end the Syrian crisis.
