“The Islamic Republic of Iran supports all the measures aimed to develop stability and security in the region and directed to solve the crises in Syria, Yemen and Iraq politically,” said Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the General Director for International Affairs at Iran’s Parliament during his meeting with the Kuwaiti charge d’ affaires in Tehran, Fallah al-Hajraf, on Wednesday.
Amir-Abdollahian also hailed the constructive role of Kuwait in bolstering peace, stability, and security in the region. He described Kuwait’s approach to the regional countries of Iraq, Syria, and Yemen, as constructive and beneficial.
“Iran and Kuwait are two influential countries of the region which can constructively help to reduce the regional tensions with joint cooperation,” underlined the Iranian diplomat,
The former Iranian deputy foreign minister highlighted that the parliament of Iran enthusiastically follows the course of relations in shared issues between Tehran and Kuwait City and asserted that boosting and bolstering bilateral ties between Iran and Kuwait can help solve the regional problems.
The Kuwaiti diplomat, in this meeting, for his part, voiced his concern about the continuation of hostilities in some countries of the region and voiced hope that cooperation between Islamic countries contribute to the solution of regional problems.
