Serbian deputy FM, Takht Ravanchi discuss bilateral ties

TEHRAN, Jan. 24 (MNA) – Serbian Deputy Foreign Minister Goran Aleksic has visited Iranian counterpart on Tuesday.

Mr. Majid Takht Ravanchi described Iran-Serbian Republic ties as cordial, and believed that there had been a strong will contributing to closer political, cultural, and economic relations; he highlighted Iran’s economic attractions to Serbian investors and businessman as oil and gas, transportation and commerce where Serbian private sector would participate.

Mr. Aleksic for his part, told the meeting that Serbia highly regarded relations with Tehran; “we believe Iran plays a constructive role in regional and international developments especially in the Middle East; Serbia welcomes improvement of ties with Iran in technology and tourism, among other fields of bilateral interest,” he added.

Takht Ravanchi and Aleksic addressed developments in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
