Iran, Finland sign 4 MoUs in Tehran

TEHRAN, Oct. 26 (MNA) – Iran and Finland sealed four cooperation documents on energy, communications and technology, environment and investment.

The ceremony to sign bilateral agreements was held at Sa'dabad Complex, in the presence of President Hassan Rouhani and his visiting Finnish counterpart Sauli Niinistö on Wednesday.

Memorandum of Understanding on energy sector is one of the documents signed by Iranian Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian and Finnish Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Kai Mykkänen.

In the field of Communications and Technology, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi and Kai Mykkänen signed a cooperation agreement to further the cooperation.

The third agreement on natural resource management was signed between Iran's Head of Forests and Rangelands Organization Khodakaram Jalali and Finland's Kai Mykkänen.

Iran's Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Mohammad Khazaei and Finland's Executive Vice President Jussi Haarasilta inked fourth MoU on cooperation of Iran's Organization for Investment and Technical Assistance and Finland's Export Credit Agency Finnvera.
