Iran’s ‘Immortality’ warmly received by Italian audience

TEHRAN, Oct. 23 (MNA) – Mehdi Fard Ghadeir’s feature film ‘Immortality’ was warmly received during its screening at the 11th Rome Film Festival in Italy.

The 145-minute plan sequence film enjoyed its first international screening on Friday at Rome’s Auditorium Parco della Musica, following the attendance of Mehdi Fard Ghadeir, the director, and casts Anna Nemati, Maral Farjad, Atabak Naderi and Sana Norouzbeigi on the red carpet.

‘Immortality’ is Fard Ghaderi's first feature movie that displays events occurring in a rainy night in the train. The film is the story of six different families on different wagons of a train, gradually unfolding to the audience.

The Italian audience, the festival’s guests and Iranian expatriates sat down to watch the film and gave it 10 minutes of standing ovation after its screening.

The 11th edition of the Rome Film Festival was held from 13 to 23 October 2016, at Rome’s Auditorium Parco della Musica, Italy.
