BANDAR ABBAS, Sep. 21 (MNA) – IRGC and Army Naval Forces have held joint marine parade in southern waters in Strait of Hormuz in line with Ground Force parade in Tehran.

IRGC and Army navies hold joint marine parade. The parade marks the anniversary of the National Week of the Sacred War (with Iraq, 1980-88), held annually September 21-28. This is the first ever marine parade held in Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz and Maj. Gen. Gholamali Rashid, commander of Khatam al-Anbia Headquarter addressed the event as the highest-ranking official.
IRGC and Army speed boats, Air Force fighter jets and Ground Forces combat units and air defense will participate in the parade later in the event.

Of notable commanders, IRGC Commander-in-Chief Mohammad Ali Jafari, Rear Adm. Habibollah Sayyari, Army Navy Commander, Rear Adm. Ali Fadavi, IRGC Navy Commander, and Air Force Brig. Gen. Hassan Shahsafi, Army Air Force Commander attend the parade.
