Iran warns citizens to avoid crowded venues in Turkey

ANKARA, Jun. 30 (MNA) – Iran’s embassy in Ankara has issued warning for Iranians visiting Turkey to stay far from overcrowded streets and public venues and generally to comply with security recommendations.

The warning was issued after a terrorist blast hit Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport on Tuesday evening. Turkey has been target of many terrorist attacks and blasts in recent months and Iranian embassy in Ankara addressed the security issue relevant to Iranian tourists and passengers visiting Turkey.

The warning recommends Iranians to avoid crowded streets and follow security instructions made by local police. “If any inconvenience faced, please feel free to inform the nearest consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran through phone contact,” reads the warning.

In Tuesday terrorist attacks, a number of foreign citizens including an Iranian man were among the victims losing their lives to suicide bomb attacks.
