The remarks were made by Head of the Strategic Research Center Ali Akbar Velayati during a meeting with Head of Turkey’s Shia Society Sheikh Salahuddin Ozgunduz.
Urging all neighboring countries to cooperate in fighting against Takfiri and extremist groups, Velayati said that the increasing unity of Muslims is necessary for the campaign.
Talking about the conspiracy of anti Islam enemies, he added “the enemies of Islam tend to present a violent and pro-terrorism feature of Muslims to the world however Islam is a religion of bliss and noble human thoughts.”
“Today whatsoever is being introduced in the name of Islam, is the conspiracy of terrorists and the enemies of Islam with an aim to create division between the Muslims and other religions”, he noted.
Velayati underlined “Convergence of regional countries can lead to success and the unity of Muslims is indeed required for standing against the conspiracies.”
