Mohammad Farhadi, Iran’s Minister of Science, Research and Technology, who is in Tokyo to sit the 12th annual meeting of the Science and Technology in Society forum (STS forum 2015), separately met with his counterparts from France, Sweden, Bulgaria, and Germany in addition to meeting with the head of R&D department of Mitsubishi Corporation.
In these meetings, Farhadi voiced willingness for expansion of scientific and technologic interactions in post-sanctions era.
The Iranian minister also discussed joint conduct of scientific and technical researches, exchange of human resources and science delegations, teachers and students exchanging plan, holding fellowship programs, and running scientific seminars.
Farhadi’s counterparts, in these meetings, showed interest in expansion of programs on Islamology, Islamic Arts, Persian Language, Archeology, and Innovation Parks.
The 2015 meeting of STS forum was opened by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Sunday and will be concluded on Tuesday.
