Talking to Mehr News Agency, Pouya Mahmoudian the director general of Handicrafts’ Export Office at Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, said that the committee running Iran’s pavilion in Milan Expo 2015 has requested for the second refilling since the opening on May 1, showing that Iranian goods are well received in the event.
The fair’s theme is “Feed the Planet, Energy for Life,” and 165 countries have their own pavilions in the event, including Iran with 10 stands in its pavilion showcasing 20 exquisite kind of handmade goods like Pottery, Khatam (Persian marquetry), Ghalamzani (Metal fabrication), Meena (Vitreous enamel), and Intarsia.
