TEHRAN, Dec. 21 (MNA) – Iran's under-16 boys' field hockey team won third place in the world for the first time.

Iran's under-16 boys' field hockey team achieved third place in the world for the first time at the tournament in Malaysia.

Under the guidance of head coach Mohammad Ali Malik Ahmadi, the Iranian team secured eight victories in the first two days of competition, finishing first in their group.

Although they lost to a strong Malaysian team in the semi-finals, they claimed third place by defeating Indonesia 3-1.
